Metropolitan State University
Metropolitan State University College of Management offers three programs in International Business (IBUS): the BS Major and Minor in International Business, and the BAS Major in International Commerce (linked with the AAS program at St. Paul College; see below). The IBUS program will help you acquire the knowledge and skills that will sharpen your personal competitive edge and can be your passport to success. Whether you plan to work, or are already working, in marketing, purchasing, or finance, you will learn how companies compete effectively when doing business overseas.
Not interested in a degree program? You may take up to three courses that specifically address your professional needs or personal interests without registering for a degree.

Commercial Service - U.S. Dept. Comm
The U.S. Commercial Service is the trade promotion unit of the International Trade Administration. The Minnesota Trade Office (MTO), an office within the Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED), is the state agency that provides export assistance to Minnesota companies. St. Paul College
Saint Paul College, a Community and Technical College, offers a two-year International Trade AAS degree program and a professional certificate. The two-year International Trade AAS degree provides “hands-on” knowledge and skills to prepare you for employment in the international arena or for those that are new to the industry. It also provides an excellent foundation for individuals wanting to be entrepreneurs in the import/export business. The professional certificate provides an opportunity to increase your knowledge and enhance your credibility in the international field. The AAS degree program is fully transferable to Metropolitan State University, where you can continue your education to obtain a bachelor’s degree in International Commerce. |

US-China Business Connections
UCBC is an educational and networking forum for companies, individuals, and institutions wishing to develop or promote business ties between the US and China. It’s a place to learn how to do business in or with China, a place to find helpful resources to grow your business in China, and a place to make valuable business contacts and share experiences about doing business in China. UCBC consists of individual entrepreneurs, small and mid-sized businesses, and Fortune 500 companies currently doing business or seeking business opportunities in China.
